The mighty Homoelectric will be setting up shop for the last rave of 2023 at a new location – the gorgeous New Century, with its vintage sprung dancefloor just ready for soaking up all that madness. On the decks will be the incomparable DJ Paulette, alongside Artwork and residents Gina Breeze, Jame Bull, Will Tramp and Lukas. All hail.

The cavernous party spot Diecast is surely the perfect spot to see out 2023 in fine style. Expect outrageous scenes, wild performances on its aerial runways and all the chaos and excess you’d expect at NYE Bang!, dubbed ‘a chaotically wild affair’. We don’t doubt it. Get your tickets here.
New Year’s Eve at Albert Hall
Celebrate the New Year with 90s Baby at the Albert Hall. Throw yourself back into a the pre-noughties era with the biggest names of the decade performing live, including JX, Sweet Female Attitude, Ultrabeat, n-trance as well as hitmakers Baby D, Livin Joy ft Luzahhn, K-Klass, Nick Coulson and a DJ set from Judge Jules.
One Night at Ducie for New Year’s Eve
Ring in the new year in style with One Night at Ducie! Featuring sound, beats and vibes from the Ducie Street Warehouse artists, expect DJ sets and live performances from the likes of Nathan B, Chevone S Duo, Esme H, Martin C, and Zeyla. Tickets are free, but booking is advised.
New Year’s Eve at Mean-Eyed Cat
Welcome in the new year with a raucous bang at Northern Quarter spot Mean-Eyed Cat. Enjoy rum cocktails (including Christmas specials the Yule Mule and the Zombie Claus) soundtracked by rock n’ roll bangers until the early hours. Oh, and roll the dice on the bar to be in with a chance of winning FREE drinks. Free pizza is also available until 9pm.
Thomas Street Takeover
No, not Chanel this time. Head down to Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter for an epic New Year’s Eve party! Party at venues including Wolf At The Door, The Bay Horse Tavern, Cane & Grain, Liquor & Burn and The Smithfield Social for an epic street party.
Tortuga NYE Party
Head to Tortuga on New Year’s Eve for a Bottomless Party with Reggae Bottomless Brunch and live entertainment from Golty farabeau.
New Year’s Eve at Higher Ground
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the excellent Higher Ground, with chef Joe Otway, FOH icon Richard Cossins and the wine cellar’s supremo Daniel Craig Martin, who have had a sterling first year with their own place. The menu will be set, but will champion the best of the season, including fabulous produce from their Cinderwood Market Garden. We can think of a better place to raise a glass.
The Twilight Trail at Mayfield Park will host a New Year’s Eve closing party with an enchanting light show and fireworks display! Head down from 8pm, with a 12 minute fireworks display at 9pm.
New Year’s Eve at The Jane Eyre
Ancoats-based restaurant and bar the Jane Eyre will be serving up their festive Christmas menu of small plates as well as some specials until 9pm on NYE. After which, there is a busy night ahead full of live music and a DJ takeover. Expect dancing, drinking and good times to see you in to 2024!

The Warehouse Project New Year’s Eve
Get your rave on into 2024, with a blow out at the WHP. In the Depot, it’s a DJ set from Rudimental, alongside DJ EZ, Hannah Wants and Paul Woolford, with Sammy Virji, Girls Don’t Sync and Rich Reason on the Concourse. Then it’s Hammer, Gina Breeze and WHP’s venerable resident Krysko taking on the Archive.
The Little Disco at Freight Island for New Year’s Eve
Freight Island have announced their New Year’s Eve plans – involving a platform takeover from The Little Disco. Headlining the free to attend party is one of dance music’s most revered DJs and a Chicago staple, Jamie 3:26.
Funkademia New Year’s Eve
This year will be the 28th Funkademia New Year’s Eve party, so we reckon it’s a pretty solid bet. Manchester’s longest-running club night will be seeing in the new year with tracks from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Prince and loads more until 4am.
NYE at 11 Central
Head down to Salford’s new venue 11 Central, from the folk behind Seven Bro7hers and Sisters Distillery, for a huge New Year’s Eve bash with food, drinks and tunes from house band Cafe Soul Collective.
NYE Party at Finders Keepers
New Islington Marina neighbourhood bar Finders Keepers will host a fun-filled disco to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The Studio 54-themed bash will see the drinks spot serving up a special menu of disco classics – complete with retro cocktails, disco balls, sequins and of course, dancing!
New Year’s Eve at The Black Friar
Welcome in 2024 at The Black Friar in Salford, one of the very best pubs in the city (and we’re talking Salford or Manchester here). They’re putting on a special five course feast, curated by head chef Ben Chaplin and featuring some of the restaurant’s favourite dishes including venison raviolo and seared scallops. It’s available all day long from 12pm for £69pp. If you’re after a lighter lunch, you can go for three courses instead for £49pp, available 12-5pm only.
New Year’s Eve with Deptford Northern Soul Club at YES
A smaller scale knees up, the Deptford Northern Soul Club will be heading up the M1 (and then the M6, possibly, the M6 Toll) bringing with them a bag full of crackly soul bangers from the archives. Big trousers, high kicks and talc at the ready.
New Year’s Eve at The Blues Kitchen
Soundtrack your 2023 send off at the Blues Kitchen with classic soul and funk from the bar’s very own house band, with three thrilling sets of live music from 8pm. Expect classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu, Lauren Hill and more, followed by DJs playing timeless dance floor grooves until 3am. Tables can be reserved at no charge until 7pm (2-hour reservation per table). From 9pm, guests can book a table for £40, which is guaranteed for the rest of the evening.
Big New Year’s Eve Bash at The Botanist
The Botanist is hosting a Big New Year’s Eve Bash to say goodbye to 2023 on 31 December. The team will be shaking signature cocktails and serving up feel-good food, with live musicians to get the party started later in the evening. Throughout the day, the bar and restaurant will be offering bottomless drinks for £25 with any main course purchased. The Big New Year’s Eve Bash starts from 8pm and tickets cost £15 per person, including a cocktail on arrival and a glass of Prosecco at midnight.
New Year’s Eve at The Pearl
Prestwich newcomer The Pearl will host a five course candlelit dinner on New Year’s Eve to see out 2023. Guests can enjoy live jazz throughout the night and a glass of champagne to toast. A DJ will soundtrack proceedings after midnight for drinks and dancing. There will be two sittings – dusk (5pm-8pm, £100pp) and midnight (8.30pm-2am, £120pp). Take a look at the menu here.

See out 2023 at Barca Bar in Castlefield with a huge New Year’s Eve party with half-price drinks. Yes, really! Enjoy the biggest celebration of the year with Barca’s house cocktail menu, which includes the likes of old favourites Daiquri, Aperol Spritz, Margarita and Negroni. Head down from 8pm for DJs and dancing to say hello to 2024. No booking is required.
New Year’s Eve at Fenix
Greek-Mediterranean restaurant Fenix, which opened with huge fanfare in November, is celebrating New Year’s Eve in a predictably extravagant manner. The high-end eatery in St John’s will split the festivities into three parts, with special menus, a moonlit party and international DJ. Prices start from £50pp, booking is essential.
New Year’s Eve at The Refuge
Perhaps one of the most popular NYE haunts, The Refuge will once again welcome guests to slip on those dancing shoes and boogie down to 2024. This year, they’re dialling up the disco with a takeover from Sticky Heat and Supernature Disco, as well as drag collective The Family Gorgeous. Let’s Dance tickets start from £30pp, whilst Dine and Dance tickets (which include an 80s dinner party-style feast to share) are £95pp.
FunNYE at 53Two
Celebrate the biggest night of the year in the legendary 53Two arches with FUNNYE – a night of comedy, music and dancing. Grab a glass of fizz and enjoy a top comedy line up led by Toby Hadoke and then see in the new year at the post show party with live music til 2am!
