Known throughout the land for their selection of imaginative and extremely tasty beers, Omnipollo are heading to Wolf At The Door on Friday 21st February for a weekend tap takeover and my word – there are some beauties to try.

Swedish brewery Omnipollo started making ripples in the beer world with their experimental and unique beers. They’ve been described as one of the world’s most important breweries right now and have continued to push the boundaries of what could even be called beer in the first place.

In the past they’ve made Chocolate Ice Cream Ale, Maple Muffin Barley Wine and even a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sour – and even though I’ve only ever had their Blueberry Frozen Yoghurt Ice Cream Beer (brewed with Buxton Brewery) – it was absolutely bloody fantastic.

Friday 21st February will see them take over the taps at Wolf At The Door, giving you the perfect opportunity to taste some of their highly unique creations (as well as a few of their less ‘wacky’ offerings). They’ll even be bringing their soft serve machine for some of their dessert offerings – so you can experience them how they were designed to be drunk.

Here’s what they’ll have on offer…

Blueberry Cheesecake Stout (soft serve)
Imperial Stout, 12 % by vol.
Friends, family, kindred spirits. Inspiration comes in many shapes and forms. In this case it’s in a Blueberry Cheesecake Stout. Brewed with blueberries and aromas.

● ● ●

Belgian Pale Ale, 6.5 % by vol.
Assertively hopped and fermented dry using champagne yeast. The yeast and the hops in combination with a simple malt bill provides the beer with a quality of being rich in taste yet refreshing.

Mango Orange Passion fruit Creme Brûlée Sour (soft serve)
Sour, 6 % by vol.
Mango, orange, passion fruit crème brûlée sour ale brewed with lactose sugar and vanilla.

● ● ●

IPA, 6.2 % by vol.
Omnipollo’s house IPA, a blend of grains, untouched post fermentation and aspiringly hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Centennial.

● ● ●

Hokus Pokus
American Pale Ale, 5.5% by vol.
Mosaic Nelson Sauvin Pale Ale

So head on down from Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd for this rather rare occasion of trying some of the most unique beers in the world.
