Camden Town Brewery’s Tank party is making a return to the city this month to mark the start of summer.
A big event for lager lovers, Camden Town’s Tank Party brings the freshest, unfiltered Hells Lager directly from the barrels of its brewery. Poured straight from the tanks for the ultimate refreshing beverage, over the course of the tour they will serve up 135HL of beer, that’s 23,000 pints to you and me!
Announcing a string of dates across the UK, it will be stopping off at six locations including Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle, before returning to its London home for the grand finale.
Taking place at Escape to Freight Island on the 24th and 25th of June, you’ll need to round up a fair few mates in order to carry the endless trays of pints back to your table, and it’s not just lager that’ll be on offer either.
You’ll also be able to grab the brewery’s Pale Ale and Off Menu IPA, too, so there’s plenty to choose from if lager isn’t your preferred tipple. As the party is taking place at Escape to Freight Island, you can expect a wealth of the city’s wonderful street food traders supplying authentic dishes across the full two days, too.
To give you an idea of what will be on offer, Carnival will supply the tastiest charcoaled meats, Voodoo Ray’s huge 22-inch pizzas will be up for grabs and there’ll be traditional Mexican plates from Madre Tacos, alongside loads of other amazing traders!
And to keep the party vibes going all day long, Camden have lined up a series of live artists and DJs to get the crowd on their feet. DJ Danuka will be showcasing jazz, soul and funk on the 24th, with deep house NYC party vibes curated by Will Tramp as part of Mixtape Fridays. If retro chart toppers are more your thing, MASSAOKE will be popping up, with Apricot Ballroom and Dr Jive also hitting the stage with the funkiest electro and disco tunes.
