Celebrate World Cocktail Day Berlin Style with HTC

When it comes to celebrating, we can’t think of anything better than heading down to Manchester’s very own slice of Berlin, The Honey Trap Club to sip on their re-imagined retro classics.

Some of our favourites are the Rondez-Vous at Charlie’s (£9) which shakes Sipsmiths London Dry with a zesty pomegranate reduction, lemon drizzle, sugar and an egg white foam.

Honey, Just Being Coy (£9) is another which sees a blend of the vanilla-based tequila, Ocho Reposado with sweet vermouth and a splodge of honey.

Te-Quil-A Zombie (£8.50) an apocalypse of Ocho Rum and Triple Sec, mango, pineapple and orange juice, squeeze of lime and a dash of almond syrup which is as sweet and delicious as you can imagine.

Violette Framboise (£8.50) is the pink drink of summer 2019, combining Manchester Raspberry Gin, Crème de Violette, lemon, sugar and a dash of cherry bitters. This one has to be my top pick every time.

Although not open on the real World Cocktail Day (13th May), The Honey Trap Club boasts 3 club nights. Start your weekend early at the chilled Lounge Thursdays soundtracked with smooth soul tunes or Zig Zag Saturdays with a mixtape party, including everything from Toto to Cardi B.
