Chit ‘n’ Chaat is opening at the Trafford Centre

Indian street food fave Chit ‘n’ Chaat is all set to open up a brand new branch at the Trafford Centre.

As part of the new look Upper Orient part of the Traff’s dining offer, it will be turning out its snacks, curries, small plates and chaats, along with noodle dishes, breads and dosas.

Sagar Modha, Co-Founder of Chit ‘n’ Chaat, said: “Trafford Centre is a dream location for our brand. After nearly two years of planning, we are proud to achieve this milestone and look forward to welcoming customers. 

“Our vision has always been to bring the vibrant flavours of Indian street food to new markets, and Trafford Centre provides the ideal platform to do just that. We’re eager to share our culinary heritage with our customers and look forward to the exciting journey ahead.”

Chit n Chaat

Chit ‘n’ Chaat started out in Rusholme, and now has branches in Cheadle, Deansgate Square and Bethnall Green in London’s East End.

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, added: “Chit ‘n’ Chaat’s arrival at Trafford Centre boosts our dining scene with authentic Indian street food. We’re thrilled to welcome them and believe their delicious menu will quickly become a favourite among our visitors.”

The opening day, which is set for the autumn with a date TBC, will see Bollywood entertainment on the day and a 25% discount for diners.

The new Chit ‘n’ Chaat will form part of Trafford Centre’s new dining area dubbed the ‘Eastern Garden’ in the Upper Orient.

It’s just the latest new operator to head to perhaps the UK’s most ostentatiously-designed shopping centre.

Other new arrivals include Australian sushi makers Rolled and West Indian legends Jerk Junction, who arrive in September.
