After more than 4 years of being closed, the former Artisan unit in Spinningfields, the one opposite BLVD and just near Oast House, is set to be filled - by a Brazilian-Japanese fusion restaurant called Sakku Samba. Sakku Samba is a brand-new concept launched by restauranteur Zack Isaak, bringing together two of his existing brands - Estábulo and Sakku.

Estabulo

Estábulo is a Brazilian 'rodizio-style' restaurant, with 9 locations across the UK, including 7 in Yorkshire. Sakku, offering unlimited sushi and Japanese dishes, was opened last year in Leeds. Split across the two floors, Sakku Samba will have a cocktail bar when you arrive on the ground floor, with space for 300 diners upstairs in the restaurant. There are also plans for a VIP room which will accommodate 80 people, plus two private dining rooms for smaller functions and events.

With rodizio Brazilian-style 'all you can eat' dining, and unlimited sushi at Sakku, it's probably safe to assume that Sakku Samba will be offering up some form of bottomless food offering - fusing Japanese and Brazilian flavours across the board. Sakku Samba is set to open in June. Follow Sakku Samba
