The main menu has the likes of Pan-fried Sea Bass with crushed potatoes (£17), Cheshire Farm Lamb Rump with lettuce, peas and bacon (£24) or a 10oz Rib-Eye steak served with crispy triple cooked chips (£33).

Desserts include all the classics you could want that it will be difficult to choose, treacle tart (£6.50), summer fruit trifle (£7), brownie (£6.50), sticky toffee pudding (£7) and even a cheese board (£8).

The Ballroom has views across the panoramic Calatrava Bridge and River Irwell with floor to ceiling windows to watch the world go by.
