Eat Well MCR, the collective that delivers restaurant meals to vulnerable people, have added some exciting new products to their online Marketplace – the charity’s one-stop shop selling produce and meal kits from the region’s best restaurants, growers and producers.

All the profits from the Marketplace fund meals for people living with food poverty across Manchester.

This week, for one weekend only, taco superstars, Pico’s Tacos are joining the Marketplace and have created their first ever at-home experience via their ‘Build Your Own Tacos’ Meal Kit especially for Eat Well MCR’s Marketplace.

Known for creating the most incredible taco experience in the Northwest, Pico’s Tacos can usually only be found at Alty Market and Mackie Mayor, but now for the first time Eat Well MCR marketplace customers can get them delivered direct to the door and create their own, next-level Mexican fiesta at home – the perfect feast for sunny feasting in the garden this weekend!

Owners Luc and Lauren have a passion for ingredients, flavour and authentic Mexican food, and it shines through in this easy to assemble, cook-at-home box of taco joy.

There are two kits on offer – Chicken Adobo and Charred Sweet Potato. Each kit comes with 6 fresh corn tortillas and is enough for 2 people to build their own tacos. The kits are on the marketplace between Friday 11th June and Monday 14th June for delivery or collection Friday 18th or Saturday 19th June.

Meanwhile, Eat Well MCR have created a couple of bespoke Father’s Day specials for those who want to treat their dad with the very best independent food and drink AND support an incredible local charity at the same time!
