…especially if they are made from chocolate!
I would rather have two puddings than a starter, and preferably I would rather they sit on either side of my main for balance…obviously.
You can imagine that I am a bit of a hard girl to please when it comes to dessert, but I have to say that after eating a specific dessert from The Lowry Hotel’s new menu recently, I have concluded that I do not want to eat anything else again ever!
Let me build it for you. It starts with a chocolate ganache made with 63% Michel Cluzel chocolate from Normandy in France. It is soft, rich and silky like freshly shaved legs in satin bedsheets.
This is then served with the only thing better than chocolate – peanut butter. This comes in two forms one as light and airy mousse inside a dark chocolate cylinder and the other a delicious ice cream. Garnishes include a crunchy peanut brittle and some lovely aerated dark chocolate.
Seriously, there is no combination better than peanut butter and chocolate, and this dessert is a cracking example. You are going to love the dark chocolate ganache at The Lowry Hotel, and I strongly suggest you get booked in to try it if it is the last thing you do!
