The exciting new project from Six By Nico founder and chef Nico Simeone is set to open in Manchester – transforming the former Six By Nico site on Spring Gardens.
Flipping the script from its former incarnation, and under the new identity of Lennox, Nico will be replacing the familiar tasting menu concept with an a la carte menu taking its inspiration from nostalgia, but with some clever twists.
So you can expect dishes like a classic scotch egg with brown sauce and black pudding, buffalo squid with nori ranch and pickled celery, loaded potato skin with oxtail ragu and Sauce Diane, and fish fingers with gribiche and smoked bacon butter.
There will also be the likes of gnocchi with chicken wings, parmesan and truffle, lamb belly with katsu curry, pomegranate and preserved lime and cod with brown shrimps, celeriac and brown butter.
