The concept is simple; vegetarian street food dishes inspired by the vibrant cuisine of Gujarat with a little modern pinch and a roster of the most exciting craft beers from both local and international breweries to drink alongside. Fuss-free aromatic food that is served in paper cups and eaten with plastic cutlery there is something so beautifully honest about Bundobust.
We popped out for lunch this very afternoon and gave the Christmas Specials a go, alongside some seasoned classics as well. We tucked into Brussell Sprout Bhajis which here a revelation. Honestly, if you think you hate sprouts give these a go, and I will promise you will be converted. They also have a scrumptious seasonal curry with rice, which was everything it should be and then polished off with coconut and almond ice cream- just what the doctor ordered after something hot.
Naturally, we threw a cheeky Vada Pav in there… oh and some Okra Fries… and a Paneer Tikka, a Tarka Dhal and a Chole Bahtura. How could we not?
The menu at Bundobust will be changing in January- so get down ASAP and give the menu a try. But, don’t you worry your pretty little heads, the classic dishes up top aren’t going anywhere.
