With a whole host of events and festivals being cancelled or relegated to ‘online’ this year due to COVID-19 this August Bank Holiday looks set to be a relatively quiet one (by our usual standards anyway).
You’ll be pleased to know though that there’s one party which you can rely on – and that’s Homoelectric – who’ve announced that they’ll be taking over Platform 15 at Escape to Freight Island this Bank Holiday Monday 31st August.
Tickets will be going on sale this week for a proper Balearic takeover, complete with Homoelectric DJs, alongside all the food and drinks you could desire set in Manchester’s newest outside venue space.
They’re telling us that there’ll be strictly no dancing and social distancing rules in place – but you can rely on the Homoelectric crew to sort you out. It’ll be “more beach bar than Berghain.”
