As Downing Street keeps ‘leaking’ threats of a potentially easing lockdown in March, the folk behind Levy Market at preparing the stalls, dusting off the rubber covers and counting PPE ready for a cracking opening in March.

Of course, the reopening is dependent on Lockdown 3.0 restrictions being eased in March to allow outdoor markets to re-open. For now, the team are working hard to get the market ready for a possible open and welcome everybody back.

If all goes well, Levy Market will be back up and running on the first weekend of March and will stay operating every Saturday throughout March and April!

There will be a few changes like a lack of tables and seating for customers to eat, drink and socialise and the market capacity will be cut in half.

You can also expect a one in one out system to ensure customers, staff and traders are all as Covid safe as possible!

For now, you can order from the traders and recreate Levy market magic at home. There are food and drink including Levenshulme’s favour authentic pizza from Cibus, meal kits from Food Rebels and even raw honey from The Finest Honey.
