New bar Posie, created by the team behind 10 Tib Lane and Henry C in Chorlton, will open its doors on Tuesday 4 November.
Situated in the former Philpotts sandwich shop inside Bruntwood SciTech’s Bloc building, off Market Street, the venue promises a mix of cocktails, natural wine by the glass, craft beer, coffee and a small plates menu.

The drinks menu will take centre stage with signature cocktails such as the Cacao Nib Negroni (cacao nib Campari, Plymouth gin and Dolin rouge vermouth), the Vodka Martini (Sipsmith vodka, Dolin dry vermouth, lemon twist) and La Isla (Aperol, almond, Takamaka koko, mango & melon soda and acid).
On the food front, Posie will echo the expertise seen at its sister venue 10 Tib Lane. Highlights include confit chicken & wild Mushroom croquettes with tarragon emulsion; pork belly skewers served with garlic honey and red pepper; and a bitter leaf salad with fennel, buttermilk dressing, pistachio and cherry.
Guests can enjoy these across booth seating, bar seats, tables and a two-level space including an al-fresco dining area.

From Tuesday to Sunday, between 12pm–4pm, Posie will also run an aperitivo and oyster happy hour: £8 aperitivos and £1 oysters.
Co-owner Sophie Robson said: “Our opening date is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to share all that Posie has to offer. This menu is the culmination of decades of passion and experience and we’re really proud of it.
“The cocktail collection is full of exciting drinks and flavours that are unique to Posie. The experimental side of things will be complemented by classic cocktails perfected by our team, as well as great wine, beer and some cracking small plates. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome Manchester to Bar Posie.”
