There’s a new Polynesian Tiki Bar in the Northern Quarter, an immersive escapist cocktail paradise with slick contemporary finishes, resort chic and enough tropical flourishes to make you forget the Manchester rain this Autumn.

Lono Cove is the second offering from Luke Edge, following on from his successful, award-winning site in Chester which opened back in 2018. Celebrated for its drinks and service, the venue has become a firm favourite for locals and tourists alike.

Now it’s time for Manchester to get in on the act with the opening of Lono Cove in the old Apotheca unit down on Thomas Street.

There’s two floors of tropical cocktails, with the ground floor incorporating comfortable booths and two stunning birdcages which cater for groups of up to 6 people.

The basement features a stunning floral décor, a DJ and a drinks offering that’ll get the party started – the perfect place for private parties, cocktail masterclasses or just to dance the night away.

The cocktail menu at Lono Cove features a range of Tiki classics, including the always dependable ZOMBIE, Mojito and some pretty special sharing including the Treasure Chest – full of Polynesian flavours; passionfruit, pineapple and vanilla. Oh, and LOADS of booze of course!

Lono Cove is open NOW on Thomas Street, pop in and see what all the fuss is about.
