Last week saw the opening of Manchester’s first Açai Bar in the Arndale Food Market – Açai & The Tribe.
The duo behind the concept, Alisha and Connor, first came across açai bowls while travelling abroad with Conner’s previous job as a pilot, and they quickly fell in love with the unique and delicious breakfast dish.
As you’d expect, their signature dish is the classic Açai Bowl, a blend of organic açai berries with bananas and almond milk which is then frozen before they add homemade vanilla granola, frozen raspberries and banana and almond butter.
Alongside their signature bowls, they also offer some amazing smoothies, healthy brunch options, grilled sandwiches and some great coffee.
It’s definitely worth checking these guys out if you’re looking for something healthy and tasty! They’re open in the Arndale Food Market Monday to Saturday, 9am – 4pm, and Sundays from 11am – 4pm.
