Since opening I think it’s fair to say that Wolf At The Door in the Northern Quarter has certainly impressed with their outstanding food and their innovative cocktail menu. I even wrote a whole 420 words on their bread & butter – it’s that good!

One thing we were most excited about before they opened was their Innovation Room, a private dining area that incorporates a personal kitchen so guests can sit with their own chef and experience a range of new flavours, ingredients and techniques unavailable anywhere else in the restaurant.

This week sees the FIRST dining experience hosted in the highly anticipated dining space and it’s your chance to finally reserve a space at the table and be served a special 5-course menu personally from the Head Chef James Lord.

Wolf At The Door have teamed up with Buffalo Trace this Thursday 3rd October from 6pm to bring a special 5-course menu complete with paired whiskeys from the distillery (with one that costs a whopping £2,000 per bottle). Here’s the menu…

Puffed Chicken Skin, Yellow Corn Puree + Aged Comte
Buffalo Trace White Dog

Aged Beef Tartare, Oak Smoked Beef Fat, Pickled Green Strawberries + Toasted Milk Crisp
Sazerac Rye

Whiskey Cured Mackerel, Juniper Wood Fudge, Apple + Kohlrabi

George T Stagg

Cinnamon Smoked Pear, Vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut + Goats Whey
Pappy Van Winkle 20yr (a 700ml bottle costs £2k)
