After months of hard graft, the historic Lass O Gowrie’s transformation is now complete, with all new furniture, carpets/floors, lighting fixtures and artwork.

Pub-goers can enjoy a pint of one of the bar’s extensive lagers, beers and craft ales from its new brass iron fonts, which not only help deliver the perfect pint but have become a focal point for the bar’s new look.

A new multi-purpose cinema room has also been created with access to both BBC and Sky Sports channels. It can be hired out for private sports screenings, as well as bespoke big screen events, with space to accommodate 20 people seated and 35 standing.

The Lass O Gowrie’s legendary beer garden has undergone its own makeover, with a new and improved seating area, decking and fencing, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink over the summer months.

Following the investment, the Lass O Gowrie has also reintroduced its food offering to its extensive menu of refreshing drinks giving pubgoers a chance to sample classics such as the Classic Fish and Chips as well as new dishes including the Beyond Meat Burger.

Dog friendly and with weekly open mic and quiz nights, the Lass O Gowrie is sure to be a hit with city workers, students and tourists alike.

Josh Murray, General Manager of Lass O Gowrie, said: “We couldn’t be happier with phase two of the refurbishment and are really excited to be able to welcome our regulars and newcomers back through the pub’s doors

“Having received a full makeover both inside and out, the Lass O Gowrie has never looked better, and I speak on behalf of myself and the team when I say we can’t wait to show it off”
