Artisan introduce new Summer Menu & Express Lunch

Spinningfield cocktail and food staple Artisan have recently introduced a new Summer menu with a focus on a range of light, bold flavours designed to suit the sunniest of all seasons.

Spinningfield cocktail and food staple Artisan have recently introduced a new Summer menu with a focus on a range of light, bold flavours designed to suit the sunniest of all seasons.

Notorious for its wood-fired pizzas, steaks, cocktails and massive upstairs space, Artisan have added a wide range of new dishes to their menu alongside all the usual Artisan favourites.

So you can expect Prawns with roasted garlic, coriander, tomato, chilli and lemon, or even new pizzas such as the BBQ chicken and chorizo with cipollini onions. Lighter options also include Prosciutto with watermelon, and Salmon en Papillote with Thai red curry.

One of the most delicious sounding dishes, at least from my brutish tastes, is the Salt and Pepper St. Louis Belly Pork Rib followed by the Chocolate Meringue with banana. It all sounds rather lovely as you can see from the pictures right here.

The summer season also sees the introduction of an Express Lunch priced at £9.95 which includes two courses and a drink with a choice of a regular soft drink, 125ml glass of wine or half a beer. The menu is flexible and can be served as two separate courses for diners with time to spare or the starter can be served as a side with the main for those in a hurry.
