Sexy Fish, the restaurant known for its visually impressive Japanese-inspired menu and ever-creative cocktail menu, is celebrating 10 years of being open.

Manchester’s Sexy Fish, located in glamorous Spinningfields, opened in 2023, but the global brand – which has restaurants in Manchester, London, Miami and Dubai – was founded in Mayfair in 2015.

To celebrate, they’ve launched ‘X’, a cocktail menu reimagining of 20 of its most iconic serves, reworked with the modern cocktail aficionado in mind.

The full menu features 10 alcoholic and 10 ‘no’ or ‘low’ serves, each modernised using new techniques and ingredients, and a fresh approach to balance and presentation. Highlights include Miso Thirsty, a bold reimagining of a house favourite from Sexy Fish’s 2015 opening menu. Featuring Hibiki Harmony Whisky, miso, plum and sesame, a nod to Sexy Fish’s unrivalled Japanese whisky collection, and its playful spirit.

There’s also Fit as a Fiddle; playful, low ABV and beautifully layered. Made using Código 1530 Rosa Tequila, pineapple, yuzu, coconut and hibiscus, this drink is said to be an embodiment of ‘naughty and nice’, and a reinvention of the 2015 version.

Super Magic Monkey is inspired by the bar team’s travels to Shanghai and concocted from Altamura Vodka, pineapple, citrus, ginger, gochujang, coconut and whey – this was a hit in 2019 and is still a classic amongst Sexy Fish fans globally.

The 10th Anniversary cocktail list has been curated by Xavier Landais, Director of Beverage at Caprice Holdings, who has been with Sexy Fish and Caprice Holdings for 20 years.

Xavier Landais says: “Sexy Fish has always stood for bold creativity and world-class quality in both food and drink. This new menu is a tribute to the incredible talent that has come through our bars over the last 10 years. Each cocktail tells part of our story, but with a modern twist. It’s our way of celebrating Sexy Fish’s past while raising a glass to the future.”
