Manchester’s staple grassroots music venue Stage & Radio has revealed its brand-new first floor area dubbed ‘The Attic’.

The addition of the new space offers a more premium and private environment, away from the usual high- energy dance music on the floors below and adding further depth to the venue’s wide range of visitor experiences.

With the addition of The Attic, Stage & Radio now boasts 3 environments across 3 floors; The Basement, The Bar, The Attic.

Each area is curated to host patrons in multiple social settings, from the club to a casual drink and private bookings. The Attic provides a mostly seated experience with table service across the night and an extensive bottle menu focusing mostly on premium spirits and wines.

The Attic also features a brand-new PA system with an adjustable layout capable of also hosting DJs during private bookings.

The design language put in place by Interior Designer – J Rowan focuses on a vintage speakeasy feel, whilst creating a cosy but luxurious space with a feeling of exclusivity. The scheme incorporates deep, rich colours, crystal ambient lighting and cosy seating booths.

Bespoke smoked screens are present to divide the space from the corridor, without closing it off completely. These panels are backlit with neon lights to give an ambient glow in the evenings whilst the smoked translucency adds mystery to the space within.

The final touches are made with accessories sourced from local vintage stores to complete the area and provide a homely feel.

The Attic will be officially available to book from 21st November through info@stageandradio.co.uk in the run up to Christmas and will continue to be available in the new year.
