We all love our mums. Well, okay, not everyone loves their mum – but most of us do. And I feel it’s my civic duty to tell you that it’s Mother’s Day THIS SUNDAY (14th March) so if you haven’t got her a present yet then you need to start getting your act together.
It’s rather difficult during this time of lockdown to treat her though, what with everywhere closed until at least the 12th April. Coming to the rescue though are a whole host of the city’s bars and restaurants who have decided to help you out – offering up delivery services this Mother’s Day so your mam knows exactly how much you do love her.
One such is independent Spanish restaurant La Bandera, who have created a range of super-special Hampers for Mother’s Day – which you can get delivered directly to her house over the weekend. Saving you a ton of messing about and loads of ear-ache if you’d have forgotten it all.
First on the offerings is the Artisan Cheese Hamper (£25.99) which comes with a selection of four premium artisan Spanish cheeses, plus breadsticks, quince paste and a mini bottle of Cava.
There’s also the Artisan Mixed Hamper (£35) with two Spanish cured meats, two premium cheeses, truffle oil and biscuits, oh and a mini bottle of Cava too.
Finally, for those mums out there who love desserts (i.e. all of them) there’s the Dessert Platter (£16) which comes with Churros (and chocolate for dipping), Nutella mini doughnuts, meringue cookies, strawberries and a mini bottle of Cava.
