The nominations for the British Restaurant Awards 2022 are out, and, as you’d expect, it features some of the UK’s very best establishments which will be celebrated at an awards ceremony later on in the year.
From the 20th January till the 23rd April – Readers of Chelsea Monthly magazine, The National Post, and members of the World Restaurant Awards Guide (WRAG) were given the opportunity to nominate their favourite restaurants per city, region, and throughout the UK.
The Awards will provide an opportunity for customers to now vote for the best restaurants, chefs, and culinary experiences in the UK, with the final list of winners, announced on 12th September 2022.
Twelve of Manchester’s eateries have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Restaurant Manchester’ category:
- Mi & Pho, Wythenshawe
- Zouk
- Adam Reid at The French
- WOOD Manchester
- 20 Stories
- Australasia
- Mana
- Tattu
- Gaucho Manchester
- Fazenda Manchester
- Peter Street Kitchen
- 63 Degrees
There are also Manchester entries in other categories too, with Manchester’s Simon Rimmer shortlisted in ‘Best Chef’ and Peter Street Restaurant in ‘Best Luxury Restaurant and ‘Best Culinary Experience’.
The city is also represented in the ‘Best Takeaway Restaurant’ category, with the amazing One Plus getting a nomination.
