The Grand New Year’s Eve Feast at Winsome
One of the best restaurant openings of the year, round off 2025 with an opulent feast at the brilliant Winsome. Kick off with oysters casino, and scrambled egg with sea urchin, followed by the main event; a burnished Gressingham goose. There’s an optional wine flight, and a vegetarian menu too.
House party action at House of Social
House of Social reject NYE stuffiness and embrace house party rules. There’ll be DJs and live performances, red cups and games, and all five kitchens are open until late. There’s no dress code and it’s free to attend – just pre-register on Eventbrite to make sure you get in.
Dancing showgirls and a house legend at The Cut & Craft
NYE at The Cut & Craft comes complete with dancing showgirls, a midnight countdown, and the ultimate party atmosphere. Keep your table for the whole evening to toast, dance, and celebrate in style – or grab a bar table from 10.30pm for the late-night revelry. Enjoy a welcome glass of Champagne, a sumptuous three-course feast, and a night of unforgettable entertainment from legendary house vocalist Julie McKnight (of Kings of Tomorrow fame), plus support from Glitterbox DJ Raven Mandella.
DJs, Live music and a glittery lemon meringue at Circolo Popolare
To mark their first NYE in Manchester, Circolo Popolare are going big. The team are ready to cook up a three-course feast and celebrate with an Italo festa featuring DJs and live music. The grand finale? Their signature dessert has had a glittery makeover – a towering lemon meringue pie covered in shimmering gold. From explosive crispy parmigiano bombs topped with fresh black truffle to homemade ravioli stuffed with slow-cooked chicken, Chef Alfonso is preparing an extravaganza, this is one to get dressed up for.
The NQ Takeover – Celebrate at four venues in the Northern Quarter
The Northern Quarter is hosting a one-night, all-access party linking The Bay Horse Tavern, Cane & Grain, The Social NQ and Crazy Pedro’s, with wristband holders free to roam between all four. Each venue throws in a drink as you arrive, covering single spirit and mixers, cocktails, bottled beers, cans, pints and medium house wine, alongside live music and DJs running late into the night. Now that’s a big night out.
New Year at our fave pub in Stockport
Stockport’s newest and finest party pub is sticking on an NYE do. They’re promising ‘inside dancing, decent music, eternal celebrations’. The last one is a bit ambitious, but we’re here for it. Details are currently light on this one, but we’re sure it’ll be completely excellent.
Dining, dancing and dazzling cocktails at Sexy Fish
Sexy Fish Manchester is set to ignite an electrifying New Year’s Eve celebration with Midnight Fish, the brand’s signature end of year spectacle, in partnership with Don Julio 1942. Across the evening, guests will step into a playground of vibrant neon atmospheres, visuals, live entertainment and dining. The Sexy Fish bar will also debut limited-edition Don Julio 1942 cocktails, designed exclusively for Midnight Fish. Each serve is designed to dazzle the final toast of the year. A selection of dining experiences are also available throughout the night as well as DJs and live performances.
Latin, amapiano, breaks and electronica with the Me Gusta Collective NYE Special
Me Gusta Collective are back with a bigger, louder New Year’s Eve party, blending Salsa, Latin-Club, Kuduro, House, Breaks and Amapiano into a night built for people who actually want to dance. After a sold-out show earlier this year, they’re closing out 2025 with their trademark mix of global rhythms and heavy electronic cuts, joined by a live set from Manchester band IRIS before the DJs take things deep into the early hours. Expect a crowd that’s fully locked in, a floor that never really empties, and a proper high-energy start to 2026.
Bring in the New Year with San Carlo
San Carlo is closing out its 20th anniversary year with a New Year’s Eve party built on great food and live music, pairing its signature Italian dishes with a lineup of DJ Jay Ross, saxophonist Charlie Folland and vocalist Liam Craig. Expect a night that blends house, brass and soul into one stylish celebration of the Manchester institution’s legacy.
New Year with Crazy Pedro
Pedro’s is going big for New Year’s Eve with a two-floor party split between classic Pedro’s chaos upstairs and a glitter-soaked disco downstairs. It’s free entry all night, and the midnight moment comes with free pizza for everyone. Expect party anthems, disco heaters and the kind of NYE energy only Pedro’s can deliver, topped with drinks running from spirits and mixers to cocktails, pints, bottles and wine.
Skyline fireworks and Nikkei feasting at Chotto Matte & Claude’s
Chotto Matte and its tequila-and-mezcal bar upstairs, Claude’s, are throwing an all-systems-go New Year’s Eve — bold Nikkei food, live DJs, and some of the best panoramic views of Manchester’s fireworks.
There are a few ways to do it. Early diners (12–7pm) can go à la carte or take the £165 set menu with a glass of Pommery Champagne — a calmer route into the night before everything kicks off.
From 7pm, the Premium Dining Experience takes over: a Champagne-on-arrival set menu, immersive entertainment, DJs, and the option to pre-book with an £85 minimum spend to keep your table until 3am.
If you’re just here for the late-night energy, the Bar & Lounge runs from 10pm–3am with bottle service, DJs and an electric midnight countdown.
Upstairs, Claude’s Skyview Bar hosts two parties of its own. The Premium Bar Experience (£200pp minimum spend) brings DJs, entertainment, bottle service and citywide firework views from the top floor. Or go for the standing Bar Experience (£125pp) — two premium cocktails and a glass of Champagne included — and dance through to 3am under the skyline.
Wild performances and a 10-piece band at Diecast
Diecast will unleash a New Year’s Eve across three distinct spaces. Set inside a former metalworks factory reimagined as an all day, all night restaurant bar and club, Diecast blends industrial atmosphere with immersive performance. For one night only, the venue’s three signature spaces Club Leno, The Beer Hall and The Old Foundry unite for a high voltage spectacular. Aerialists sweep overhead, lasers tear through the Beer Hall, and performers drift between guests with mind bending high energy acts. A powerhouse 10-piece band drives the soundtrack for the night, blending disco, house and classics.
A day party knees up at Albert’s Schloss
Celebrate NYE without the 2am taxi queue or New Year’s Day hangover. Introducing the Noon Year’s Eve Haus Party – a daytime knees-up for the early revellers. From 1-5pm on 31 December, Schloss is swapping midnight madness for afternoon mischief with a haus full of live entertainment, interactive drag hosts, a live duo on stage, and wunderbar DJ sets taking requests all day long. Tickets are £27.50 for two courses or £35 for three, including a glass of prosecco on arrival, with bookings available from 1pm.
An evening of great food and wine at Cantaloupe
Sleek Stockport bistro Cantaloupe are leaning into all things seafood this NYE. In particular, they’re considering the lobster: enclosing them in rich buttery pastry, an serving them with a bisque sauce. For those who are vegetarian there’ll be serving root vegetable pies loaded with celeriac, cream and truffle. Dessert is a sharp granita of aromatic clementine and an almond cake served with perfumed poached pears. There’s a glass of crémant on arrival, and a wide selection of cocktails, beers, wines, vermouths, amaro and liqueurs available for your delectation.
New Year at San Carlo Fumo
Fumo is turning NYE into a high-energy blowout, blending DJ sets with live sax performances and a buzzing atmosphere that moves seamlessly between dinner and the dancefloor. Expect a packed room, big party moments and the kind of night that keeps going well past midnight.
Help Bar Shrimp celebrates its first New Year’s Eve
NYE at Bar Shrimp is over 12 hours of seafood, champagne and dancing. The bar opens at 2pm for walk-ins with dinner reservations from 5pm and a party from 10pm through to 3am. The menu will be a celebration of the best seafood the British Isles has to offer, with three seatings to choose from. At 10pm, the lights will go down, the music will go up and we’ll ring in the New Year until 3am with Lukatti Bugatti on the decks. A dinner reservation provides access all night, but if you just want to got for a boogie, be sure to grab a £10 ticket in advance.
Bring in the New Year at a Salford favourite
Celebrate the New Year at one of Salford’s most beloved boozers. The Kings Arms are doing it with fizz, drag performances and a pets and kids friendly policy. Expect a raucous ‘lock-in’, Salford-style. Don’t forget to toast their beloved pub cat, Charlie.
A booze-free social at FIX
The Northern Quarter’s ice sauna FIX is celebrating NYE without the hedonism, but with all the same good feelings. Head down to this tranquil space for a social that’s all about connecting and unwinding. There’s live music and alcohol-free cocktails too. New Year’s Day self-satisfaction guaranteed.
Spectacular drag and dancing at The Refuge
Tickets are now on sale for the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball at Refuge. The Oxford Road venue will be transformed and for one night only resident queens, Anaphylactic and Liquorice Black, will host the night and lead the countdown. Guests can choose between Let’s Dance tickets from £25 per person, or the full Dine & Dance experience including fizz and a feast from £100pp.
A sultry masked ball at Red Light
Sultry bar Red Light are throwing an NYE masquerade party. Grab your mask and join them for a night of dancing and debauchery a mere sashay away from Canal Street, where the lights go down low. There’s a glass of champagne included in your ticket. Dancing from 10pm ’til late.
Bottomless supper and late night vibes at MAYA
This New Year’s Eve, all three floors of MAYA come to life. Upstairs, BAR MAYA brings the house party vibes – flowing drinks and feel-good tunes. In the Dining Room, MAYA’s new Supper Club serves up four sensational courses alongside 90 minutes of limitless beer and bubbles for £100 per person, with DJs turning dinner into a dance floor. And down below, The Pump Room is pure after-dark fabulous: a late-night club room on Canal Street with DJs, dancing, and a few surprises. Supper club must be booked in advance.
Champagne, sushi and DJs at Lucky Cat
From daytime dining to late-night revelry, Lucky Cat are doing New Year’s Eve with plenty of pizzazz. Expect exquisite Asian-inspired small plates, robata grilled dishes, cocktails and DJs from the very first toast of the day. There’ll also be live entertainment that lights up the room as midnight approaches. Then, when the clock strikes midnight, head to the bar for Perrier-Jouët Champagne, sushi, and confetti. Cheers, indeed.
Disco, soul and Stalybridge sparkle at Cafe Continental
Stalybridge’s Cafe Continental are celebrating NYE with the return of their Hot Plate night, served up by Robbo and the Cafe Continental resident DJs. Expect soul, disco, house and RnB classics, with cavorting late into the night. It’s £30 a head, tickets are limited, and to book you must email abbey@thecafecontinental.com.
