The first ever Indian Summer Food & Drink Festival has been announced, a weekend of family-friendly entertainment, food and drink all nestled in the Cheshire countryside in the stunning gardens of Arley Hall.

Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July, Indian Summer Fest will feature the Khana Wala Street – a totally unique food extravaganza with a host of exciting food stalls that will transport you to the streets of Delhi and Mumbai.

Khana Wala Street is a totally new street food experience, transporting festival goers to the market streets of India with seven different types of street food from all over the Indian sub-continent by creating a bustling, dynamic street of stalls.

There is no doubt Khana Wala is the star of the show with seven sumptuous Indian food stalls to choose from, serving kebabs, wraps and burgers alongside authentic Indian curries and snacks.

The buzzing, bustling atmosphere will delight diners with all the food cooked fresh on site on charcoal grills, bringing colour and fantastic aromas and flavours to the hungry festival crowd.

For the less adventurous diner, less spicy fare can be found at the artisan food stalls in the market, showcasing traditional street foods such as Stone-Baked Pizza, Churros and Chocolates, alongside a dedicated Cocktail Van, Gin bar and a Cobra beer stand.

Indian Summer Fest will also feature an impressive children’s zone – called ‘Kidchella‘ offering something for even the most discerning little adventurer to enjoy.

Toddlers and pre schoolers can play in the giant sandpit, enjoy fairground rides or say hello to furry friends at the Donkey Sanctuary. For the older children they can dive into Nach (dance) classes, pick up some new skills from the fabulous Circus Sensible team or explore the thrill of the fun fair.

In India, a fabulous performance or show is known as ‘Tamasha’ and at Indian Summer Fest you can enjoy the sounds of an Indian Drummer band, as well as the sensational Mr Wilson’s who will be performing throughout the Festival.

There will also be a beautiful Indian-inspired performance by the local Stagecoach Performing Arts School, alongside FREE yoga classes to really allow you to find your inner zen.
