Earlier this year, Alvarium announced that it had faced difficulty retaining its outdoor seating as government plans revoked the introduction of the bar’s terrace post COVID.
Since May, the popular cocktail and dining destination has been without its alfresco seating, but now, specially for bank holiday weekend, Alvarium has announced the return of the terrace from Saturday – Monday!
Starting tonight, Alvarium’s big bank holiday bonanza begins with the launch of a brand-new Pride cocktail menu, running from this evening until Sunday.
Featuring four cocktails; the Pornstar Martini, Espresso Martini, French Martini, Vesper Martini and Beefeater Gin Martini – each purchase will donate £2 to akt, a LGBTQIA+ youth homelessness charity.
Happy Hour is on all evening, too, meaning that those dropping by can get 2 FOR £5 bottles of San Miguel, £20 bottles of Prosecco, £12.50 bottles of house wine and 2 FOR £10 cocktails from 4pm – 1am tonight!
Owen Pick will also be behind the decks, providing a soundtrack of soul, funk and disco whilst guests enjoy some sweet drinks deals and tapas, supplied by Alvarium newcomers, Abeja.
Known for its diverse and equally delicious range of Southern Spanish tapas dishes, Abeja is currently serving a stunning menu of traditional small plates from the basement of Alvarium.
The menu is an exploration of Mediterranean delights, featuring classics such as Calamari and Spanish Omelette, alongside more complex tapas plates including Serrano Ham Croquetas, Pincho Moruno and Gambas a la Parrilla.
