I can tell you now – there’s going to be A LOT of Christmas Dinner deliveries happening this December. I envision having to write a sentence like this probably over 100 times in the next couple of weeks – so be lucky that this is one of the first ones.
This one is a bit different though – as you’ve probably gleamed from this article’s title. Yep, Six By Nico have teamed up with the mad gang from Bongo’s Bingo to bring Christmas Dinner and games to your house this December.
In what they hope will be the new Christmas Party alternative this year, Christmas By Nico’s Festive Party Experience will deliver a festive feast with all the trimmings (and wine) straight to your door.
The four course Christmas dinner kit includes: Celeriac and Apple Veloute – Hazelnut, Apple Dressing; Chicken Liver Parfait – Madeira and Pork Glaze, Autumnal Plum and Fig Chutney, Wolleys of Arran Oatcakes; Turkey Ballotine – Smoked Steak Bacon, Sage and Onion Stuffing, Game Chiploates, Turkey Gravy served with sides of Chantenay Carrots and Hasselback Potatoes.
Finally, to end the festive feast customers will enjoy a Christmas Spiced Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce and Eggnog Creme Anglaise. Each experience comes complete with a bottle of white or red wine and a vegetarian four course alternative is available.
While you’re tucking into your dinner, Six By Nico have partnered with Bongo’s Bingo to host an immersive LIVE Quiz on some of the key dates throughout December – with multiple rounds and multiple chances to WIN some pretty special prizes.
Christmas by Nico customers will also be encouraged to host their own virtual parties on Zoom with a little help from the Trussell Trust who are working to help end poverty and hunger in the UK.
The partners will invite customers to host a fun virtual get-together, raise money and build a Hunger Free Future. By downloading and participating in the Trussell Trust’s festive campaign, Not Your Usual Christmas Party, customers will be able to invite friends and colleagues, and donate the money they would normally spend on a big party to help families unable to afford the basics.
Emma Revie, Chief Executive of the Trussell Trust says: “In the first six months of the pandemic, food banks in our network provided 1.2 million emergency food parcels to people unable to afford essentials, and it’s likely that food banks will be busier than ever in the lead up to this Christmas.
“This is not right but we know that if we come together to push for change, we can build a hunger free future. By hosting a Not Your Usual Christmas Party event, you’ll be helping us support food banks and work towards a future where everyone has enough money for the basics.”
The Christmas by Nico: Festive Party Experience will be available for delivery on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December as well as Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th December 2020.
Bongo’s Bingo LIVE interactive events will take place at 19:00pm on Friday 11th and Friday 18th December only. This event is exclusive to Christmas by Nico customers.
