These days, when it is miserable and cold outside, we could all do with a little Italian sunshine on our lunch break, and we have found just the thing.
Cibo on Liverpool Street has just launched a beautiful lunch deal which is available all week long. The offer includes one course from their delicious menu of Italian classics for £8.95 or two for £13.95. This deal also includes a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
For a price like that, you would think that the quality in food would be lacking. Well, that’s where you would be wrong. Very wrong.
The Cibo lunch menu includes such delights as beautifully crisp Calamari with tartare dip, Bruschetta Pomodoro and the infamous Mozzarella Fritta which is a breaded, deep-fried ball of Buffalo Mozzarella. Yeah, that’s as good as it sounds, trust me.
Main courses include the likes of Tagliatelle Polpette (meatballs), Pan-Fried Angelsey Sea Bass on a bed of spinach or even the spicy Diavola Pizza.
If you are into a bit of sweet-sweet, you can opt for a main course and a dessert instead. The Cibo dessert menu is pretty special too – so expect things like a classic Tiramisu, Pana Cotta and of course, Gelato.
Cibo are also strong advocates for vegetarian and vegan cuisine, so substitute dishes are available upon request.This lunch deal is available between 12 pm and 2:30 pm Monday- Friday and 12 pm- 3 pm on the weekend.
