Afro BBQ Festival will be heading to Albert Park in Salford this Sunday 11th August to bring you a multicultural culinary phenomenon that has never been attempted before; the UK’s first festival of African Street Food.

The mouth-watering, family friendly festival will feature delicacies from the streets of Nairobi, to the Suya parlours of Lagos, all the way down to the township of Soweto. Showcasing street cuisine from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and several other African countries.

Guests will experience an exciting multi-sensory and light-hearted journey into the African culture – including access to their Afro-themed BBQ buffet stands and a host of other of exciting local vendors of African cuisine, fashion, art and performances.

Held only a few minutes’ walk from Manchester city centre in Albert Park, the event is designed to attract foodies, vegetarians, and thrill seekers for a sunny afternoon of gastronomic indulgence, multicultural immersion, and creative reverie!
