Award-winning theatre space and creative hub Hope Mill Theatre celebrates it 200th birthday on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August. The Grade II-listed former cotton mill will host a free family fun day followed by a makers market, with the support of the Lottery Heritage Fund.
On Saturday 24 August, there will be a Victorian style funfair, featuring fairground attractions, stalls and donkeys, as well as street food and drinks available. On Sunday 25, the venue will host a makers market where visitors can browse stalls from independent, local makers and artists, all soundtracked by live music and DJs.
