A-Kin Supper Club returns late May Bank Holiday Sunday for the next instalment in the series, kicking off summer in the best way. They’ll be taking over The New Cross in Ancoats for an evening of elevated sharing plates, great music, and even better company. Expect a summer-inspired menu designed for connection, conversation, and plenty of ‘you have to try this’ moments. Soundtracking the night, Conor and The Greenskeepers will be performing live, with Mikey Don on the decks curating the soundtrack from dinner through to late-night drinks.

Bread Service
Charred Spring Onion + Sumac Butter — warm, crusty bread with smoky-sweet butter and a bright citrus kick.

Course 1: Ajo Blanco
A chilled almond and garlic soup, finished with charred grapes sherry gel and coriander oil. Light, refreshing, and packed with flavour.

Course 2: Charred Prawns with Nuoc Cham
Smoky grilled prawns glazed in a punchy Vietnamese dipping sauce.
(Veg Option: Tempura Asparagus with Coriander Aioli — crisp, golden, and fresh.)

Course 3: Apricot Curry Chicken Skewers
Tender chicken skewers glazed with a fragrant apricot curry sauce.
(Veg Option: Apricot Curry Butternut Squash + Halloumi Skewers — sweet, spicy, and perfectly charred.)

Served with:
Smoked Tomato + Red Pepper Orzo — a smoky, vibrant pasta salad to soak up every last bit of flavour.

Course 4: Chargrilled Seabass with Cucumber + Dill Beurre Blanc
Delicate seabass paired with a silky cucumber-dill butter sauce.
(Veg Option: Panko Aubergine with Cucumber + Dill Beurre Blanc — crispy, tender, and bright.)

Served with:
Blood Orange + Fennel Salad — fresh, zesty, and the perfect balance to the richness of the mains.

Course 5: Dark Chocolate Crèmeux
A rich dark chocolate custard topped with candied walnuts and luscious caramel — smooth, deep, and unforgettable.
