A Lovely Weekend comedy festival returns to Manchester this summer with another sensational line-up of work-in-progress shows from TV stars, viral sensations and critically acclaimed stand-ups.
Spread over three days from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 June, the festival will bring 19 new shows to Fairfield Social Club, including Edinburgh Comedy Award-winners John Kearns and Jordan Brookes and local talents Rachel Fairburn and Josh Jones. Elsewhere on the line-up are hotly-tipped newcomers like Sharon Wanjohi, Ayoade Bamgboye and Molly McGuinness alongside cult sensation Mark Silcox and the formidable Frankie Monroe.
Organised by John Stansfield and Chris Cantrill, the brains behind production company A Lovely Time, John said: “It’s such an honour to bring this amazing line-up of comedians to Manchester which is quickly becoming the most exciting city for comedy in the UK.”
