Critically-acclaimed conductor Robert Ames joins Manchester Camerata and DJ and producer Afrodeutsche for a progressive live show at Factory International. Merging Ames’ and Manchester Camerata’s UNQUIET spectacle with a new piece from the Manchester-based DJ, the collaboration will draw unlikely similarities between classical composition, house, techno and electro.
This will be the second piece Afrodeutsche has composed for the Camerata – the first, He Sings Over Me, premiered at the Southbank Centre in London as part of the PRSF New Music Biennial. For MIF23, the new piece will be brought to life by Ames – who’s known for championing new music and working with some of the most exciting artists around today.
