6pm - 10.30pm

On 18 July, acclaimed Irish chef Diarmuid Goodwin will be joining the team at Isca for a special one-night-only service, bringing with him a decade’s worth of experience from some of London’s most respected kitchens.

Originally from Belfast, Diarmuid started cooking at 15 before landing in Angela Hartnett’s orbit, spending seven years across her kitchens, including Michelin-starred Murano and both Cafe Murano sites. His CV also includes time with Bruno Loubet at Grain Store and a two-year stretch as senior sous at Islington’s beloved Trullo.

Most recently, he headed up the kitchen at Sager + Wilde, drawing inspiration from the food cultures of Italy, the Basque Country, and Provence. His current focus fuses these Mediterranean roots with his own Irish heritage, crafting a bold, modern European style that’s earned him a spot on the Murphia List two years running.

Lately, he’s been popping up in both London and Belfast with his own menus — and now, he’s landing in Manchester for a collaborative night with Isca co-founder Issy Jenkins. The two have created a bespoke menu for the evening, paired with special bottles from Isca’s cellar.

Expect expressive cooking, seasonal produce and a thoughtful pairing menu in one of the city’s most quietly brilliant dining rooms.
