After over half a million visitors at last year’s event, Bolton Food and Drink Festival returns to the town centre on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Promising a stellar line-up of TV chef masterclasses, incredible street food traders, family fun and live music, the weekend is set to be bigger and better than ever. Popular TV chefs James Martin and Ainsley Harriott will do live cooking demonstrations, sharing their years of culinary knowledge, expertise, and top tips.
The much-loved murder mystery night also returns, where Sheer Luck Holmes will guide guests through an immersive night of mystery solving, alongside a three-course meal. Another fan favourite, The Faulty Towers Dining Experience, will take place at the Albert Halls – join Basil, Sybil and Manuel as they serve up mayhem on a plate, alongside a three-course meal and non-stop laughter.
Guests can also enjoy a delicious and delightful Prosecco Picnic Platter with The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Andy Morgan and special guests Rustie Lee, Helen McGinn, Robert Owen Brown and Simon Wood. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a special demonstration from Rustie Lee and a Q&A session.
