Two of Manchester’s most chaotic forces are colliding for one night only. On Wednesday 1st October, Detroit Slims on Oxford Road hosts a Bongo’s Bingo pizza parlour pop-up – and it’s set to be absolute carnage. From 6pm–8pm, hosts Rich Furness and Ste Taylor will be running the show, tearing through one-line bingo, handing out madcap prizes, and calling on local singers, rappers, dancers and karaoke kings and queens to step up and perform for the crowd. Winners can bag Bongo’s Bingo treasures, plus the chance to land a Detroit Slims Gold Card – free pizza for a year.

And because no one leaves empty-handed, every guest gets a free slice of Detroit Slims’ cult Margherita Slim – the square-cut pizza that made them an Oxford Road institution. Expect dancers, singalongs, booming sound system chaos, and a two-hour blast of the surreal energy that’s made Bongo’s Bingo a UK phenomenon for almost a decade.
Pizza, prizes and total pandemonium. Eyes down, slices up.
It’s a free event – first come, first served.
