Build Manchester

Adidas Originals and Factory International team up once again for Build Manchester, a two-week long festival of skateboarding. Taking place from 2 to 16 August, the festival will transform Aviva Studios into a custom-built skate plaza inspired by the city’s distinctive architecture and what makes the streets a unique playground for skaters. Boasting a bumper programme of events, Build Manchester has been designed to reflect the spirit of Manchester’s diverse skateboarding communities. The space will offer not only a one-of-a-kind skate experience but also a lasting contribution to the local scene. Expect open-to-all skate contests, video competitions with prizes, skate schools, custom product opportunities, exhibitions, film premieres and workshops as well as the chance to see adidas’ global team riders skate the plaza.
