Part of MOBO Fringe week, Crib Sessions with Faro brings a more laid-back, house-party style energy to Side Street.
Hosted by Manchester creative Faro (Karl John), the night is designed as a space where artists, DJs and music fans can connect outside the usual club setting. Faro’s been a familiar figure across the city’s scene for years — from MCing and directing music videos to hosting stages at festivals like Parklife and Creamfields — and Crib Sessions reflects that same community-first approach.

Expect a no-skip soundtrack from a lineup of DJs alongside live entertainment, games and conversation throughout the evening. Rather than a traditional club night, the format leans into a more relaxed kickback atmosphere, where emerging talent and established creatives can share the same room.
The night will also feature appearances from Romy Gama, host of the Pyjamas Club and a well-known face in Manchester’s creative circles, alongside Faro himself.
Think less late-night rave, more creative house party — the kind of setting where people stay longer, conversations happen naturally, and new collaborations often start.
