American-Sudanese alt-R&B singer (and actor) Dua Saleh lands in Manchester to take on the Pink Room at YES. With releases on Minneapolis indie Against Giants, and more recently Brooklyn’s eminent stable Ghostly International – with recent album I Should Call Them – expect angular beats and leftfield soundscapes. Another rather renowned Minneapolis icon would have definitely vibed off this.
