Join artist Elyse Blackshaw for her very first public workshop in Manchester. An accomplished fashion illustrator, Elyse will guide guests through contemporary mark-making techniques, offer expert tips and help create colourful fashion portraits. Guests will finish the workshop by illustrating a look inspired by London Fashion Week. The two-hour workshop coincides with a special window display by Elyse celebrating 40 years of Cass Art.
Elyse Blackshaw is a Greater Manchester-born artist and studied embroidery at the Manchester School of Art before embarking on a career as a fashion illustrator in 2013. She went on to graduate from the prestigious Royal College of Art in 2021 and has since worked with clients such as Selfridges, Samsung and Westfield London. She is a contributor to the iconic SHOWstudio and has been a Graduate Fashion Week judge for the Fashion Illustration Award for the past two years.
