The Working Class Movement Library welcomes Dr Katherine Connelly for its Engels Memorial Lecture. Connelly is a writer, lecturer and activist who has recently written on Karl Marx’s theory of the lumpenproletariat in Paris’ June Days for the edited collection The Idea of the Lumpenproletariat. The talk will last for 45 minutes and there will be an opportunity for questions at the end.
