Fields To Fork, a brand-new food festival featuring top chefs, live fire cooking and music lands in Greater Manchester this Bank Holiday weekend. Setting up at Whitebottom Farm, in the stunning Etherow Country Park, the festival promises to be a celebration of British produce and British farming.
The event will showcase the best the country has to offer, with a team of award-winning chefs turning up for the weekend. Among them will be Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Great British Menu judge and formerly of the Michelin-starred Northcote, who will be taking to the Blok Live Fire Cooking Stage for both cooking demos and a Q&A session.
Joining her will be fellow Great British Menu star Aktar Islam, who has two stars at the critically accliamed Opheem in Birmingham, alongside fire cooking experts Holly Lou, James Peck, Marcus Bawdon and Masterchef: The Professionals champions Dan Merriman, Stu Deeley, Nikita Pathakji and Dan Lee.
Other chefs heading to Whitebottom include Lap Fai Lee, Jake Rossington, Alex McLaren, Jacqui Mock and Doug Crampton.
Over the weekend, 80 taps will be pouring beers from Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery, while the likes of Fold Bistro, in nearby Marple Bridge, Man BBQ, Tommy’s Pizza, Mac’s Shack, The Potting Shed and Demon Drinks will be keeping people fed and watered, alongside a host of artisan food stalls pitched up all weekend.
