Hulme’s Green Island Festival returns for it’s second of three one-day events this year. Platforming young talent and nourishing local community, the grassroots festival hosts a stacked lineup of international artists including live bands and DJ sets across 5 stages – including sets from Werkha, Supernature Disco, Miss Jackson, and an intimate show from the legendary 808 State. This year they’re keeping the party going with an official afterparty hosted at The Abbey, you can expect to hear playing Baile Funk, House, Afrotech and more until three in the morning, just in case you don’t want the night to end. Which you won’t.
