The mighty Homobloc returns for its seventh edition, bringing 10,000 people together for another all-day-to-night celebration of queer music, performance and club culture.
Kim Petras heads up a particularly club-heavy lineup, joined by Honey Dijon b2b Derrick Carter, Job Jobse, Cobrah, Girls Don’t Sync, DJ Paulette, Palms Trax, Horse Meat Disco, LSDXOXO and DJ Gigola. S.A.S.S., the four-way team-up of Saoirse, Moxie, Peach and Shanti Celeste, will also appear together in Manchester for the first time.
The party takes over the full Depot Mayfield site, with music spread across Depot, Concourse, Archive, the Star & Garter and a brand new 1,000-capacity Vault stage curated by Glasgow queer club night Ponyboy. The new space will host Lady Shaka, Armana Khan, Meg10 b2b Luca Eck, I.Jordan and a rare DJ set from Dorian Electra.
There’s also a major nod to Manchester club history, with Homobloc celebrating 35 years of FLESH, the pioneering LGBTQ+ night launched at The Haçienda. Tim Lennox, Kath McDermott, Guy Williams, DJ Paulette and Mike Hux will take over the upstairs of the Star & Garter, alongside a special appearance from Adeva.
Away from the decks, more than 150 Homodolls will appear throughout the venue with drag, dance, theatre, pole and immersive performance, including Club Rat’s PU RAUL’S SUPERMODELS, The Strippers of MCR, Blackstage Pole and a new FLINTA-focused work from Maisha Kungu Dance.
Homobloc takes place on Saturday 26 September from 5pm until 4am.
