To coincide with their current exhibition, The Modernist will host an even with artists to discuss the features work. Artist Emma Coop and photographer Richard Davis will discuss their artworks and they will be joined by Lucy Marshall, an associate at landscape architects CW Studio.
Both Emma and Richard will give presentations about how Hulme has informed their work, and then there will be a panel discussion and Q&A about all things Hulme and modernist landscapes. The night will be held in the events space located at the far end of the National Trust Castlefield Viaduct and there will also be a presentation from Jenny Ferguson from BDP architects, the company responsible for the viaduct’s transformation.
