Original screen-printed posters and photographs from Manchester’s pioneering early 1980s music scene are being brought together for I Am The Fly, a free exhibition curated by artist Matthew Rich. Created to promote the club nights, artists and venues that helped shape the city’s cultural identity, many of the works were originally flyposted and never intended to survive. Expect rare material connected to the Haçienda era, FAC51 and the wider scene that established Manchester as a global music city.
