Kantina Supper Clubs transform Freight Island’s Platform into a four-week dinner series, featuring two of Manchester’s most inventive kitchens. Following on from the first edition with MOREJOY, Kantina Supper Club Thursdays returns this July with a vibrant new collaboration, this time bringing together the bold, authentic flavours of Christakis with expertly selected wines from Manchester Wine Festival.
Taking place on 3 and 10 July, this next chapter features a £25 prix fixe menu served family style in an intimate setting on The Platform at Freight Island, with the option to add a carefully curated wine flight for £15.
Dishes include wood fired pide with hummus, tzatziki, sesame and sea salt; vine leaf-wrapped dolmades stuffed with lamb and beef; a slow roasted lamb kleftiko; crispy Marfona potatoes; and a classic baklava served with pistachio ice cream and honey. Each course is paired with standout Greek wines, handpicked by Manchester Wine Festival.
