Instituto Cervantes host the La Guirlande as part of the Echoes Festival this week. The group, which was established in 2016, are one of the leading ensembles specialising in historical performances of 18th and 19th century music. Using original period instruments as well as replicas, the ensemble’s purpose is to perform as close to the original idea of each composer as possible. Catch them at the Instituto Cervantes on Friday 6 December.
