Grace Brackstone will showcase her own photographs and artwork in her first solo exhibition at Hidden in Manchester on Wednesday 29 November.
The exhibition supports the release of her new photo book ‘Life’s A Parade’, which is an embodiment and documentation of the artist’s life over recent years. The book initially took place following the passing of Grace’s mum during lockdown, when Grace wanted to document what she was doing whilst not at home to support her family.
‘Life’s A Parade’ comments on queerness, activism and community, and is set in both Manchester and London. It displays Grace’s venture into self discovery after loss, and all the beautiful people involved in making ‘Life’s a Parade’.
