Head down to HOME for a family friendly festival full of summer fun this August. Enjoy free activities with a programme packed with interactive theatre experiences, circus skills, puppetry, music, dance, crafts and loads more.
Opening the festival on 2 August will be a theatre production of the much-loved illustrated book Shark in the Park by author and illustrator Nick Sharratt. The show also takes place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August and is suitable for ages 3 and over.
A variety of free pop-up performances will be taking place in the spaces in and around HOME throughout Little HOME festival too. On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August, you can make friends with Toby and Eunice, a pair of fantastical beasts – a young dragon and a baby unicorn. Creating the magic and firing the imagination is theatre company the Wonderous Funderstorm. Prepare to be charmed by Special Delivery, a story told through puppetry of a postman whose parcels lose their labels in the rain. As he works out the intended recipients, a series of beautiful stories are revealed.
